Bump Update: First Trimester

IMG_6401.jpg

Part of me feels in disbelief that we’ve actually emerged out of the first trimester already. The other half of me feels as though I’ve been pregnant for 5 years. Isn’t it funny how that works? It’s true what they say though, everything happens so much faster with your second one. The weight gain, the hip discomfort, the weeks, it’s all happening so fast!

When i’m writing this i’m currently 14 + 3 weeks with baby #2 which has been an answer to prayers! If you want a little bit more of a back story check out my pregnancy announcement blog here.  So far this prengnacy has been so different from Erics pregnancy. Much more nauseas, throwing up, more tired, craving sugar something fierce, and can feel the babe much more than the first time around. We have already found out what the gender of this baby is, but just aren’t sure yet if we’re ready to announce it, or if we even want to before the baby gets here.

What i’ve been craving: Honestly, sugar. In anyway shapre or form. Thankfully now it has changed tho! The first few months all I wanted was vanilla cupcakes, not chocolate, Vanilla! I wanted Icecream, popsicles, and cookies. And that’s what I ate. But I might also add that I paid dearly for it. I felt sicker after I ate sugar + gained weight uber fast.

Dominant Symptoms: Sore ta-tas. Like oh my stars. Ow. That was the number one thing I noticed right away. Huge sign for me! I also noticed super super vivid pregnancy dreams! And, hairgrowth! I’ve already noticed new hairs all around my head! Thank you pregnancy hormones for that. And of course the nauseasness. Mostly in the afternoon + evenings but I pray it lets up soon!

Things I’m loving so far: Icead tea + stevia. I loved this kind from amazon. Comfy lounge joggersOutshine bars

That’s all for now folks. Hope you enjoyed my little recap, also if your pregnant hopefully this was enjoyable for you!

With Love,

 Carrie
